Help Light the Hospitals of South Sudan!

Veronica redeemed a SEED to make the following Request for Help. Here it is in her own words, with editing for clarity:
βWhen the sun sets in South Sudan, there is no light for health providers who work through the night in health centers in rural areas.
This means that hospitals in South Sudan can stay without electricity for 12 hours a day, and sometimes, the entire 24 hours, or even a week. The operating rooms and maternity wards are often plunged in darkness.
Diagnostic and emergency equipment dependent on electricity lays dormant. This is a grief health providers must bear in my nation.
With funding of $1,500 from Seeds, five solar sets will be bought, and 5 health facilities in South Sudan that long-labored in darkness will have light which is reliable, robust and easy to use and can function through the night, saving the lives of mothers and newborns. The mortality rate will reduce.β
$1,500 USD was raised, fulfilling 100% of the goal. Thank you so much!
