Wanna be one of the 30?
I wrote out the Seeds vision in our Discord the other day, if you feel like checking it out. In a nutshell, Seeds has 3 main goals:
Rewarding giving, because we want to transcend the idea that helping others + building abundance yourself are mutually exclusive things.
Helping folks get the funding they need to come out of scarcity, so that they have the space and resourcing necessary to heal.
Supporting creativity. I think we each came to earth with a unique purpose. Once we're out of scarcity, we can more clearly recognize it & act upon it.
Today is Day 4 of 12 Days of Giving, our year-end celebration of generosity, and it's much more than an old-school pledge drive. Through giving you receive SEEDS cryptocurrency in thanks, allowing you to build abundance yourself as well.
Lisa in Costa Rica redeemed a SEED so that 3 Kenyan kids receive the funding they need to pay for the entirety of their education. We featured her request on Day 1.
One Day 2, it was a request from 5 creatives in Consett, England. They saved a local landmark, The Old Ambulance Hall, and have turned it into an Arts Centre.
As they were unable to raise the money to purchase it outright, they're now leasing it from a trust. They redeemed a SEED to ask for help buying the building, which would save over $90,000 in rent.
If their request is fulfilled, it will also enable them to devote more resourcing to nurturing artistic endeavors in their local community.
On Day 3, we showcased Mia in Indonesia's need. She's a grandmother who has been supporting her grandkids since they lost their parents, and because her work is erratic, she's worried about money. She redeemed a SEED to ask for $500 to cover their school fees.
Today, we're featuring a Request for Help from another grandmother, Amelia in Los Angeles. Amelia is experiencing financial hardship, and is stressed out about paying for utilities. She redeemed a SEED to ask for $350 to take care of her electricity bill.
We're grateful for any and all gifts, but if you're able, we've set a goal to reach 100+ recurring givers by year's end.
