The Astrology of Capitalism's Collapse 💥

My mom was an elementary school teacher for 35 years, and I remember her once telling me that she could recognize a full moon in the behavior of her students.

I also recall lying in bed sometime in I think December of 2014, when I was 30, and feeling like things were suddenly going to be easier after they'd been hard for a time.

I knew almost nothing about astrology back then, but I wondered if I'd just completed my Saturn Return. I looked it up and - I shit you not, though it seems kind of unbelievable to me thinking back - it had ended *that day.*

I'm very much an armchair astrologer (if that), but the more I learn about it, the more amazed and excited I am to see how prescient great astrological analyses can be.

As my interest has grown, I've come across discussion of the Pluto Return of the United States, which will be exact in February of 2022. Practitioners say it will force this nation through a "new beginning, or a final end."

But the thing is, Adam Smith (thought to be the 'Father of Modern Economics') published his magnum opus, The Wealth of Nations, a few months before the Declaration of Independence was signed...which means that the Pluto Return for this iteration of capitalism seems to be happening right around now.
