we need to talk about the winklevi + trump 🤮

Okay, so I found this devastating.
The Winklevi (aka the co-founders of centralized cryptocurrency exchange Gemini) gave $1 million in Bitcoin each to Donald Trump…and I'm not seeing anyone in the world of cryptocurrency criticizing this.
They're using militaristic language, casting themselves as “American business heroes” who have been oppressed….when in reality they're among the most privileged people walking the face of the earth.
I'm finding myself in a strange position because I seem to be the only person in the world of cryptocurrency speaking up against damaging, misogynistic nonsense like this…and my voice is not being heard. I recently called out mistreatment of women at an organization whose stated purpose is to help them, SheFi, and the founder acted like I was invisible or something. It was some scary shit.
Please share this message, and support our work at Seeds to transcend this brand of toxic energy.
I trust that this is all evidence of the last gasp of the unhealthy masculine pervading the old systems. At the same time, we have to make sure people understand that the tech to transcend the legacy economic system is here, and is actively being used to help through Seeds - but the energy of the legacy system is doing its best to obscure and suppress that message.
