how to share the 🎁 of SEEDS with those you love
This past week, the Seeds community helped two unhoused women move into secure homes. One was in Atlanta, and the other in Chicago, trying to get by with her son. Chris in Atlanta messaged Friday to say that her move-in is scheduled for Sunday. 💗
Our community also helped Kingsley, a student in Namibia, cover college tuition costs so that he can graduate. We sourced funding so that Dimas, a student in Indonesia, can do the same.
If you feel like checking out regular updates regarding folks we've helped, they're posted in #stuff-to-celebrate in our Discord. There are some sweet thank you notes as well.
This week, we also created the option to help someone in need, and send some (or all!) of the SEEDS you'd normally receive in thanks to a friend or loved one instead, if you want to give that a go.
Lastly, our featured Request for Help, which will cover the entirety of educational expenses for 3 schoolchildren through graduation, is nearly 50% of the way to its goal:
Things are growing at Seeds! 🌱 And we couldn't be doing any of this without the generous spirit of giving people like you. Thank you!
