Send 3 kids to school 🎓 Receive up to $1.50 for every $1 you give
Some of you may remember that not long ago, I was too broke to cover rent on my studio apartment. Like a lot of fem people, I was so conditioned to deprioritize my personal needs that it didn't occur to me to redeem a SEED to ask for help myself until there were no other options.
I was extremely grateful when our community fulfilled my request, and I was able to avoid losing my home.
One giver was a friend who was kind enough to put $10 toward my need, despite the economic challenges that he was facing himself. As most of you know, when you help folks through Seeds, you receive SEEDS cryptocurrency in thanks.
I was talking to him a few weeks ago, and he was super surprised to realize that the $10 rewarded in SEEDS in thanks for his gift had grown to a market value of $2,620.

When you make a one-time gift, as he did, Seeds will send you 100% of that gift value in thanks, at market price at the time you give.
When you choose monthly recurring giving the rewards are greater. At $25 a month, $26.25 in SEEDS are sent in thanks (105% of your gift value). At $50 a month, $55 worth of SEEDS are sent in thanks (110% of your gift value), and so on.
Because SEEDS have gone up over 26,000% since the cryptocurrency run kicked off in March 2020, this approach has brought many givers more economic abundance, so that generous people like you have greater resourcing to continue to improve the world.

Today, because gas fees (aka the transaction costs cryptonetworks charge for transfers) have gotten so insane, and because we're the only cryptocurrency project I'm aware of that pays gas fees for others, Seeds is sometimes having to cover $60 to send a single transfer.
To help address this, we're introducing Annual Recurring Giving, with bonuses of up to 150%. We've annualized our monthly gift amounts, so you'll see the equivalents - for example, $25 a month would make for $300 annually, with the same 105% reward in thanks.
If you're able to afford it and feel compelled to give in this way, choosing this option will help us cut down on gas costs considerably, so that more funding can go to helping people when they need it instead.
If you'd like to make a larger gift and would prefer to wire funds, we can provide wiring info as well.
Our current featured Request for Help is gif'd below. When and if our community fulfills it, we'll cover school expenses for 3 Costa Rican kids for the entirety of their educational years.
Grateful for you and whatever you're able to give. It's the volition that matters most.
Warmly,
Rachel
